November - December 2009 - Publishers Message:

   As you can see from our magazine we take pride in putting together all of this great artwork. We could just paste pictures up on white backgrounds but we believe the artwork deserves to be showcased artistically. We take this publication seriously and will continue to do so hopefully for years to come.
   This issue contains some really cool stuff and we’re pleased to introduce you to our cover artist Darren Wenzel by showcasing some of his outstanding abilities. Paul Quinn and Joey Hutson once again share their talents and are giving us some great educational how-to articles. We have the talents of Ed Hubbs, Chris MacMahan, Herb Martinez, Sam Hughes, Brian Briskie and Wayne Hodge (if you know of his or his family’s whereabouts please notify us). Jim Maxwell treats us to some super eyekandy photos from Lowrider Fest 2009 and last but not least; our close friend and industry icon, Bobbo Dunn, who recently passed away. Our industry has lost another master, RIP buddy.
   I’d like to take a moment to thank all our supporters, advertisers, distributors and subscribers. Without your continued support we could not bring you this publication. Make sure to tell our advertisers that you saw their ads here in AAM and tell a friend about us.
